The MANTIS multispectral infrared camera system images in both the midwave-infrared (MWIR) and longwave-infrared (LWIR) ranges (2–12 µm) simultaneously. It features an uncooled Vox microbolometer focal-plane array (FPA)-based detector, 640 × 480 pixel array, and an optical design that leverages the company’s Black Diamond chalcogenide materials. Applications include use with drones for thermal imaging, laser beacon recognition, and threat detection. (Editor’s note: this camera will be showcased by the company at SPIE Photonics West 2023, booth 3430.)
