Long wavelength infrared lenses (LWIR lenses) are designed to operate at 8-12 micron wavelength region, matched with uncooled FPA detectors in thermal imaging cameras, the MWIR lenses are designed for cooled FPA detectors at 3-5 micron wavelength. Shalom EO’s LWIR and MWIR lenses are designed with optimized Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) to get high-quality thermal imaging, and excellent detection, recognition, and identification (DRI) range. The LWIR and MWIR series is suitable for extensive fields of applications encompassing industrial, academic and research, surveillance and homeland security, etc.
