The Lynceus-320 indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) focal plane array (FPA) camera from Toptica Photonics (Victor, NY) offers high sensitivity, a 47 dB dynamic range, 320 × 256 pixel resolution, and a 192 fps full frame rate. Applications include infrared (IR) laser-beam profiling, near-IR (NIR) spectra or laser analysis, IR filter testing and NIR reflection behavior sorting.

Lynceus-320 InGaAs Camera

TOPTICA introduces the Lynceus-320, a fast and lightweight InGaAs (focal plane array) camera with high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range of 47dB. This camera has a resolution of 320×256 pixels and offers a full frame rate of 192fps. A USB 2.0 interface serves as the power supply and guarantees an easy connection with computers running Windows 2000 and later versions.

Applications for this camera are diverse:

  • Water and moisture detection
  • Radiation insulation analysis
  • Infrared laser-beam profiling
  • NIR spectra or laser analysis
  • Silicon wafer testing
  • Thermal imaging
  • IR filter testing
  • NIR reflection behavior sorting

The NIR Camera will be demonstrated live at Photonics West 2011 in San Francisco at the TOPTICA booth 817.
