The µPAX-2 pulsed xenon light source from Excelitas Technologies (Waltham, MA) provides microsecond-duration pulses of broadband light with good arc stability. The 2 W solution contains the flash lamp, trigger circuit, and power supply for uses in UV/visible spectrophotometry, point-of-care analytics, environmental and absorption analysis, fluorescence triggering, immunoassays, and microplate readers. Its broadband design minimizes electromagnetic interference with other devices.
