The RM9-PD radiometer, which measures the power of very low-level continuous-wave (CW) or quasi-CW sources, integrates a photodiode sensor and an 18 Hz chopper. The sensor is calibrated over the entire range of wavelengths—from 0.2 to 1.1 µm. A digitally synthesized lock-in amplifier reduces external noise to a minimum, allowing the sensor to measure power levels from 300 fW to 300 nW. The output of the sensor can be displayed on any of the company's standard meters, or on a PC or Android smartphone or tablet.
