Now OZ Optics Limited, a world leading supplier of fiber optic products for existing and next-generation optical networks, offers an Amplified Spontaneous Emission (ASE) light source with an high spectrum flatness with ripple less than ±0.5 dB over 1529 – 1562 nm. This OEM module comes with a built-in Pump TEC and current driver adjusted to generate a nominal +13 dBm output with high power stability. The unit can be configured with an internal or external optical monitor port and optical attenuator. The Unit is packaged in a low profile OEM housing with an RS-232 interface, and it can also be provided in a Turnkey Benchtop chassis.

Designed to be used for traditional C-band wavelengths, this C-band ASE flat Spectrum is ideal for several applications including: Optical Signal-to-Noise (OSNR), sensor interrogation, WDM, product calibration or for passive component characterization over the C-band.
