MgO doped periodically poled lithium niobate Crystals (or MgO:PPLN) is a highly efficient nonlinear frequency conversion crystal. It can be used as SHG, DFG, SFG, OPO and OPA components in lasers.

MgO Doped Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate Crystals (or MgO:PPLN) is a highly efficient nonlinear crystal for Frequency Conversions. MgO:PPLN waveguides cover an extremely wide wavelength conversion spectral range of 0.4μm to 5.0μm. The 5% MgO doping in LiNbO3 would significantly improve its damage threshold.

Shalom EO provides a series of PPLN Crystals, mGreen Modules, Laser Modules made from MgO:PPLN crystals in both stocked and customized versions. The waveguides can be used as SHG, DFG, SFG, OPO, and OPA components in lasers. PPLN waveguide chips for SHG of 976nm, 1029nm,1064nm, 1545nm, 1550nm, 1560nm, and 2100nm plus PPLN crystals for SFG, DFG, and OPO applications are also available.
