The XX-15NF ultraviolet lamp from Spectroline (Westbury, NY) can be used as a stand-alone lamp or as a component of the CL-150 UV viewing and photo documentation system. Two 15 W tubes emit long-wave UV at 365 nm and short-wave UV at 254 nm. A proprietary glass filter ensures high initial UV intensity and resistance to solarization. Applications include chromatography, gel electrophoresis, bacterial identification, specimen staining, and fluorochemistry.

Long-Wave/Short-Wave UV Lamp Ideal for Lab Analysis

Westbury, New York—Laboratory technicians will find the Spectroline®
XX-15NF ultraviolet lamp ideal for countless applications. This long-wave/short-wave unit can be used as a stand-alone lamp where wide-area, high-intensity UV coverage is necessary or as a component of the CL-150 UV viewing and photo documentation system.

The XX-15NF has two 15-watt tubes, one emitting long-wave UV (365 nm) and the other short-wave UV (254 nm). A LONGLIFE™ glass filter ensures higher initial UV intensity and is extremely resistant to solarization.

Long-wave UV light is utilized for applications such as chromatography, gel electrophoresis, bacterial identification, specimen staining, fluorochemistry and much more. Applications for short-wave UV include mutation studies, toxicology, microbiology, mycology, UV sterilization and protein, steroid and vitamin separations.

The XX-15NF is housed in rugged aluminum and features a corrosion-resistant, specular aluminum reflector to ensure maximum UV irradiance. Weighing only 6½ lbs. (2.9 kg), it is easy to move from place to place or it can be conveniently mounted with sturdy brackets.
