High-Speed 3D Laser Scanner

Itasca, IL
Product Overview
The LJ-V7000 Series, High-Speed Laser Scanner, sets a new standard for speed and precision in 3D laser measurement. In addition to a wide range of heads that provide scan areas as wide as 9.45 inches (240 mm) and Z-axis repeatability as high as 20 millionths of an inch (0.4 µm), the LJ-V7000 Series provides an unprecedented range of onboard measurement tools.

Revolutionary Speed and Reliability
The LJ-V7000 Series is the first product on the market to incorporate the next generation of HSE3 CMOS receivers. These imaging sensors allow the system to reach an unmatched profile sampling rate of 64 kHz with a point sampling rate of 12.8 MHz. This speed allows the system to keep up with the fastest production lines while still providing high resolution 100% inspection. In addition, the system is able acquire data from surfaces with widely varying reflectivity while utilizing a safe, Class II blue laser system.

High Speed TCP/IP and Ethernet/IP Data Interface
The redesign of the profile acquisition system includes a wide array of communication options. Not only does the LJ-V7000 include traditional USB and RS-232 outputs, the LJ-V7000 is also capable of exporting all profile data over a dedicated TCP/IP Ethernet interface at full acquisition speeds. With the included software development kit, integrating the LJ-V7000 data with a third party post-processing system is quick and easy. To support high speed PLC interfaces an Ethernet/IP communications option is available.

Built in Measurement Tools
When profile post processing is not desired, the LJ-V7000 also has the ability to provide analog data or judgment outputs using onboard 2D and 3D data processing capability. This processing allows the LJ-V7000 to act as a standalone part evaluation system which can be programmed in minutes.
