The OP931 measures bidirectional insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL) in fiber-optics. It has fully automated, concurrent dual IL and RL wavelengths so both readings are returned simultaneously for all wavelengths. It includes a fiber-optic power meter and detector options for single- and multifiber connectors.

OptoTest Launches OP931

OptoTest Corporation recently launched its latest innovation, the OP931. Primarily designed to quickly and accurately measure bi-directional insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL), the OP931 joins the ranks of OptoTest’s growing number of high-end fiber optic test equipment.

The OP931 comes with fully automated, concurrent dual IL and RL wavelengths. The IL and RL readings are returned simultaneously for all wavelengths. It also comes with a state-of-the-art fiber optic power meter and various detector options for single and multi-fiber connectors. This product can be used for fiber optic cables and components from simplex and duplex to twelve channel counts or higher.
